I didn’t have any expectations when I started listening to this Jen. But it was a delightful and really informative interview. I have another friend who has a mother who makes a lot of quilts, and she does it as a way of keeping her mind busy. She also gives the quilts away -- we happen to have about six of them and I absolutely love them. It’s so meaningful to look at the wavy lines of the stitches and know that they are done by hand. This was a nice interview Jen. You’re a real pro.

I stared at the quilts of Bisa Butler's forever. And my mom, an Iowa State Fair champion quilter three times over, could not believe what Butler had created. Art is whatever you call art.
This also reminded me of my friend Lisa Hill who is a super-human artist... she does all kinds of things but one of the coolest things she does is library bulletin boards. There are cute library bulletin boards.... and then are LISA HILL BULLETIN BOARDS!
