I grew up in a Miracle Whip home, and I luh-uh-uvved Miracle Whip with crunchy peanut butter. I haven't had MW in like 40 years, so I have no idea if I enjoy that half of this combo anymore, much less if I would enjoy them together, but boy oh boy was that a favorite.

Mom used the Miracle Whip for her PBM sammies. That's what first hooked me.

Liver + Dark Karo Corn Syrup. Salty-sweet goodness.

This is how my dad grew up eating liver and onions, and my mom got suckered in on his behalf. I'm OK eating plain liver and onions now as an adult because I had the Karo Syrup to carry me along during my childhood.

This is insanely delicious. I make a mean whiskey/chocolate cake. I'll whip it up sometime! I also used to love a whiskey shot with a pickle back (but I used to drink pickle juice as a kid - i love it).

“Rice with ketchup and butter” is a diabolical image that also had me pulling out the rice cooker. For science.

Add garlic powder! Or onion powder. And please report back your findings.

I don’t do any weird mixture of food. The sound of fish and taco together sounded gross to me and kept me from trying them for years. Then when I tried fish tacos I was regretful that I had wasted all those years.

This post made me gag just a little bit 🤢 Related, I’ve somehow been targeted on Instagram with all-things pickle flavored.

See, now I can't do pickle flavor anything. But don't knock that Guinness Float til you try it, Lehman.
