OMG, you have opened a pungent Pandora’s box here. I almost never wear perfume anymore, but suddenly there are 10 tiny sample vials ADDED TO CART, and I expect to be bathing in scent as soon as Shirley from the MWest decants and gets my order in the mail!

I’m sure Shirley is on it already! She sends quickly too!

Close to the finish of The New Look, which has made me think about perfume for the first time in I don't know how long, and now this? The nostrils quiver!

I know! It just comes out of nowhere—a few years ago my family bought me a bottle of Jovan Musk, so I think I was ready for this revival.

My mother also wore Charlie. Pencil lead and gasoline...spot on.

I remember the days when department store fragrance counters handed out those tiny perfume trial vials for free. I thought they had vanished. So glad you tipped me off on where I can find them again and bring back a slice of my late teens and early 20s.

I never wear perfume either because I thought it gave me headaches…I have a hard time walking through the beauty section of a Macys or Dillards, so many mingled scents yet one of my nurses last year had a perfume that I could not forget and even asked for it for Xmas. It was $$$, perhaps I could’ve for a tiny vile if I’d known about this. I found this story of yours especially entertaining. ☺️
